General Romanian Courses - Elementary

This course addresses to those people who never learnt the language or have very vague and unclear knowledge.

Along the sessions of this very first level, the student will acquire the vocabulary of the following situations:

• ways of addressing and of greeting
• asking simple questions
• ordering food and drink
• telling the time, the date
• asking directions
• talking about "I and my family"
• talking about leisure and hobbies
• talking about body and its parts
• talking about your house

From a grammatical point of view, there will be covered the following:

• the noun:
• the singular and the plural
• the gender of nouns
• the definite and indefinite articles
• the adjectives
• the four types of adjectives "this and that"
• the verb
• the present tense and its uses
• the past tense and its uses
• the interogatives
• "Cine?", "Ce?", "Cand?", "Unde?", "Cum?", "De ce?"
• the negatives
• "nimeni", "nimic" and its uses
• the possession
• the possessive pronouns and the possessive adjectives
• short description of the word order in a Romanian sentence

At the end of this course, the student will be able to read simple and short texts, to write simple phrases, to be able to communicate in easy situations.
