Romania - Overview

Romania? How is Romania? You may wonder sometimes how a former communist country looks at present, after 15 years of democracy, what culture and civilisation it has, where you can go if you arrive in Romania or other things that you can simply enjoy in Romania.

To answer this, there are relevant the words of a foreigner whom I once asked "What do you like so much with Romania?" and his answer was "I never get bored in Romania." And that's true about Romania. You never get bored here, you can encounter different types of people, different ways of behaviour, different cultures entertaining each with the other, different mentalities.

Romania is a colourful country not only because of its relief where rivers, mountains, fields or the sea mix each other to form a beautiful landscape but also Romania is the country where mentalities like the dominant Romanian one lives together with the Greek, Turkish, Serbian, Hungarian, German, Gypsy ones, influencing each other and getting inspired in their traditions or customs each from the other.
